It's wednesday again and we have to leave for awhile this afternoon so the maid can come and clean. The kids are tired, especially Jon because he got up at 6 am!!! He wanted to go to work with Daddy! After waking mommy up way too early (caffine, HELP!), we had breakfast and played around the house. The cable went out today (makes me wonder what we will lose tomorrow?), so the kids were missing their dinosaurs and dragons! Both kids were moving extra slow.
We left the house at 1 and went to Union Station to get mommy some lunch and the kids an apple. The trains were extra crowded today with all the police in for the Law Enforcement Week. We were going to stop at the memorial, but decided to wait when Daddy can go with us!
After a pit stop for Mady, we walked over to the Capital and played in the grass. Five minutes after getting there, Mady had to go to the potty again! So back we went. We decided to call it a day and go home. First, we stopped and got Mady some more hot pink gerber daisies, she loves loves loves daisies! Grandmama got some for Mother's day and they died, so we replaced them. I put them in the vase and Mady's eyes got so big!
We stopped at Godiva and got a treat for Daddy and the kids. It reminded us of Auntie Lori's visit and how much we miss her! Both kids fell asleep on the Metro and we in a good mood when we got home!
It seems both kids have a stomach bug that is causing them to spend alot of time on the potty or making mommy change some really stinky diapers!
Maybe tomorrow will be a less poopy day!
This is a pic of the kids by one of the airplanes in Crystal City. There are 50 of these planes all different sprinkled around our little burb! We have a great time going around and trying to take pics of all of them before they get all torn up!
