Day 102-115

Scripture of the Day: For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
After those days, says the Lord:
I will put My laws into their minds,
And I will write them on their hearts.
And I will be their God,
And they shall be My people. Hebrews 8:13

Wow, I haven't done this in awhile. I am to far behind to go back and add, but sometimes life just gets soooooo crazy this is what happens! In the past couple of weeks, we have gone to San Angelo to see my MIL and my dad. Wayne got sick with what the quack doc thinks was strep throat, but the doc wished he had done a throat culture to be sure of this! Hum......

We came back exhausted with a sick daddy. The week we spent at home was hard. It is hard leaving a community that has been so good to us. I have made some of the best friends I have ever made and I got really comfortable really fast. It is suprising to me how deep of roots I put down there. I also really love our house. It is bright and spacious and was good home for us. The kids love running around in it and we love rocking on the back porch. I am happy to go back to Virginia, but I am sad to leave so many that we love behind.

So by the end of the week, I had had enough of cleaning a house and moping around. We got in the car last friday and escaped to Nana's. She and Doodah have taken good care of us and have allowed us to recouperate and rest up! Mady got sick from her measles vaccine and threw up every night for the first few nights! If it wasn't for Nana, I would have gone mad! We also love the Austin area and everything about the hill country. The first few days, Doo-dah made us some great bbq! He can really smoke some wonderful meat. I remember Saturday, I think I was in a fog, tired and confused. It is always good to take a break. The kids are back to normal too and for the first time in a long long time, my daughter is laughing and playing and eating like a horse!

We are going back on Sunday, I have mixed feelings about this. I know it will be hard on us all to go through the move. But, we have a mini vacation driving across the US. We get to see Auntie Camille in Dallas first and then we can swim every night too! We only have about 5-6 hours in the car per day, so much easier than coming back.

I will add pictures later and my scripture. I am happy to say that God really has pulled me out of this fog and put me back into the real world.

God Bless you all!
