Day One!

My friend Jennifer started this for her daughter and I thought this would be a geat way for everyone to see Mady and Jonny grow up! We may not be around our friends and family, but we think about everyone all the time! So, for today, we are going to try this and see if mommy can keep up!

Today, we are going to the "Space Grass" and the duck pond at the national mall, so I will post a couple of pics when we get back so everyone can see what they are up too!

Both kids are doing great, they are ready to go home and see their grandparents, friends, and Jake dog! Jon is enjoying trying to climb every tree in DC and Mady is enjoying painting and playing with her dinosaurs!

We had a great time at the space grass. There was some kind of law enforcement/public service appreciation at the national mall so we got to see all the federal agencies! The border patrol nascar was there, Jon went bananas for it!! (In case you all didn't know, he loves Cars and wants to be a race car driver) Mady loved the helicopters and was fearless in climbing up to the cockpit of the largest one, she even amazed the pilots! The got wet in the "duck pond" and we had to run around for awhile! All in all a great day but we are tired and mommy is sunburned!
