Today is the big celebrate Isreal's 60th year at the National Mall, so we decided to go to it. First, we made a pit stop at Caribou Coffee for a pick me up (they have great mango ice tea) and then we headed over to the mall. We almost made a detour to see what was going on over at the White House, but changed our minds and headed to the mall.
The kids had a blast making Hyssop bags and planting seeds. They also did some coin rubbings and played a geography game. Mady won an Isreali flag. We got hot after looking at all the exhibits and played in the grass. Mady and Jonny both love to roll around in the grass!
We went back home and then drove out to Cracker Barrel for some of their Sunday chicken. We drove through an area that we really like and think that is the place we want to live when we move out here!
We stopped at Best Buy afterwards and they don't know what is going on with the computer, the kids and I are going back Monday to try and talk to the guy I originally have been dealing with. I miss posting pics!
