Happy 40th Birthday Daddy!
Today is a special day and the kids and I have a ton to do to get ready for it! We have to go and get daddy's cake and ice cream. I am trying not to be sad that we aren't home to celebrate with our friends and family! We miss them all!
Here is the funny thing, Wayne celebrated his 30th in San Diego, and it was just the 2 of us. Now, he is celebrating his 40th on the East Coast with just the 4 of us! Maybe we will be celebrating his 50th in Texas?
We had a great day, shopping for Daddy's birthday. He came home and the kids met him at the door and yelled,"Happy Birthday Daddy" Mady even told the lady at the bakery that he was 40 years old! We went to Chevy's to eat, walked over there and it was a beautiful night. We came home and ate cake on the patio while the kids played.
